NorCal Imaging accepts most PPO’s, HMO’s, Medicare, Med-Cal and Workers’
Compensation. Please use our insurance list as a reference. As new contracts are
negotiated, this list will be updated. If your patient’s insurance is not listed, contact the insurance carrier and reference NorCal Imaging’s Tax ID Number 56-2629193.

Not all insurance carriers have PET/CT imaging on their routine “approved procedure” list. Therefore, insurance carriers generally require pre-authorization prior to scheduling. NorCal Imaging’s PET/CT scheduling staff will work with the insurance carrier to help obtain authorization. If an authorization is not obtained, we can proceed with the scan; however, the patient will be financially responsible for payment.

NorCal Imaging will submit all insurance claims to the insurance company. If a claim is denied, NorCal Imaging will assist with providing documentation as necessary to facilitate payment.
